What is the richest view of your life?

Looking at your life in the round, what is the richest it could be?

It’s so easy to focus on lack, deficiency, things you need to put right.

It’s also easy to focus on ‘just enough’, I’ll get by’ and ‘I’ll put up with this for now’.

Truth is, we are bound to do that for some aspects of your life. There’s so much to do, so much we could do, so little time and limited energy.

So it is easy to slip into compromise and make do with a mental checklist of ‘things I mustexcellence word cloud improve’ or ‘could do better’.

But there is a completely different way of looking at your life. Try this…

  1. Take a look at what works. What is working now and serving you well. What areas of your life are involved here? Think work, leisure, hobbies, interests, relationships, spirituality to start with.
  2. What are your strengths? Can you use them more? People are happiest when they play to their strengths. Where are your strengths being shown in work, at play, in relationships and so on?
  3. How can you balance all the aspects of your life where you use your strengths? And have your richest life?
